Buongiorno, and welcome to the South Tyrols! Step into wonder in Vinschgau Valley - the border between the Alpine and Mediterranean regions of Italy - where our retreat center is located. It’s a unique dry, sunny microclimate with 315 days of sun per year.
Our retreat will be based at Hotel Das Paradies, in the village of Latsch. The property is a family-run, 5-star retreat center, surrounded by local producers and organic farmers, and is perched on the entrance of Stelvio National Park – the largest protected area in all of Italy. Meander through apple orchards, or hop in the Latsch-St. Martin cable car for easy access to the mountains
During our stay in Italy, we’ll generally practice yoga twice daily, with more vigorous morning vinyasa classes, and evening classes that are gentler, more introspective, and accessible to all.
In addition to yoga, we have three group excursion days, and two free days to explore the region on your own or relax in Hotel Das Paradies legendary spa. Each participant will get a bus/rail pass to allow you to choose your own adventure in the mountains!
Our group excursions include:
A guided hike
A tour and tasting at a local winery
A walking tour of the nearby historic spa town of Merano, with time to shop and explore
Plan your travel to arrive in Milan by the morning of Sunday September 19. Our partner SolSeed Retreats will organize a shuttle that will collect us at Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) and carry us up to the mountains.
All meals at the hotel include meat, fish and vegetarian options and their kitchen can work with dietary restrictions. The owner of the hotel is a yogi, and the space has been designed from her lens.
When we aren’t practicing yoga or on our group excursions, you can relax at the spa, book a massage, or take advantage of the included bus and rail pass to hike and explore all the region has to offer.
You can also relax with one of three types of sauna, including a traditional aufguss sauna experience, or float in the brine pool or heated indoor pool, followed by an excellently prepared meal of local, seasonal food, true to the Alpen region.
